If you do not have a prescription, we measure it free of charge.
Frame and Lens
We choose the frame and lens together and you can try them on in store.
Preparation
Your lenses are prepared and we handle the paperwork side.
Collection
We call you when your glasses are ready and make the final adjustments in store.
Using your SGK glasses entitlement
SGK is the Turkish public social security scheme. If you are insured under it, part of the cost of your glasses may be covered. İlhan Optik is an SGK contracted optician, so the whole process from checking your entitlement to handing over your glasses is done in our store.
We check your entitlement for you
The scope of the SGK glasses entitlement and how often it renews can change with regulation, so we do not publish fixed figures here. Bring your ID and we will run the check in store and tell you exactly where you stand.
What to bring
Your ID together with your prescription is the easiest combination. If you already have a prescription we can work directly from it, including an international one. If you do not have one, we measure your prescription in store free of charge.
The eye test is free for everyone
The eye test and prescription measurement are free. Whether or not you are covered by SGK makes no difference to this.
If you are not covered by SGK
Many foreign residents are not enrolled in SGK. In that case you simply pay privately. The frame and lens options are the same and the eye test is still free.
